WEEKLY
There will be a weekly Al-Anon meeting at the Tidal Church …across from Papa Joe’s in Nelson, every Thursday night from from 7-8 pm.
Registration is now open for the North Shore Lacrosse Club 2026 season, and we’d love to have you on the field.
Whether you joined us for a full season, a drop-in, or a team building session, you already know what this community is about — and we think this is going to be our best year yet.

🏷️ REGISTRATION PRICING
· U7 (born 2020 & 2021) — $75: Development-focused sessions running throughout May. A perfect introduction to the game!
· U9 & Above — $225: This season, we are planning to field teams in every age group.
U9 — born 2018 & 2019
U11 — born 2016 & 2017
U13 — born 2014 & 2015
U15 — born 2012 & 2013
U17 — born 2010 & 2011
📅 SEASON OVERVIEW
The official season runs May through June, with an early start in April.
April practices will serve as identification sessions, giving coaches an opportunity to assess players and help players build the skills they need heading into the season.
🥍 APRIL PRE-SEASON SESSIONS (U9–U15)
Full equipment is required for all April sessions.
Saturdays (6:00 PM – 7:00 PM)
- April 4th & 18th – U9 & U11
- April 11th & 25th – U13 & U15
Sundays (11:00 AM – 1:00 PM)
- 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM: U9 & U11
- 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM: U13 & U15
💡 New to lacrosse? Come try it out in April!
Players are welcome to join these sessions before registering. The only cost is the $3 City of Miramichi user fee per visit.
🧒 U7 DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM
U7 will run as a development-focused group during May only.
Miramichi
- Mondays & Wednesdays — 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM
Neguac
- Tuesdays & Thursdays — 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM
🏆 TOURNAMENTS & EVENTS
Here’s what to look forward to this season:
We are planning to attend two of the following three tournaments this season (U9 will attend both available tournaments):
- Harvey Highlanders Lacrosse Tournament — May 15–18 (U9–U17)
- Fredericton – Ron Huckla Memorial Tournament — June 5–7 (U9–U17)
- Riverview – Codiac Cup Lacrosse Tournament — June 12–14 (U11–U17)
Provincials
Lacrosse NB is hosting its first-ever provincial championship, taking place in Fredericton from June 26–28. We are planning for teams to attend, with more details to come as the season progresses.
U17 Girls – Provincial Team Opportunity
Tryouts will also be held for a U17 Girls Provincial Team. This opportunity is available to U17-aged girls who are registered with our association. Additional details on tryouts will be shared as they become available.
🏒 A PERFECT FIT FOR HOCKEY PLAYERS
Lacrosse and hockey go hand in hand — the footwork, stick skills, and game sense you build on the lacrosse field directly translate to the ice. Many elite hockey players cite lacrosse as a key part of their development, and we think yours will too.
🥍 NO EXPERIENCE? NO PROBLEM.
Lacrosse is one of the most welcoming sports to pick up, and we mean it when we say all skill levels are welcome. If your child is brand new to the sport, we’ll meet them where they are.
⚙️ DON’T LET GEAR HOLD YOU BACK
Full equipment is required to participate, but if getting geared up is a concern, reach out to us! We maintain an inventory of equipment and are happy to help families find what they need.
