We now know the names of four doctors removed from leadership roles at the Miramichi Regional Hospital.

On Sept. 22nd, Horizon Health Network President and CEO Karen McGrath issued a four paragraph press release saying Horizon has reviewed four medical leadership positions at Horizon’s Miramichi Regional Hospital, and all members will not continue in their positions.

The release did not name the doctors and it stated that Horizon would not provide any further statements.

But the CBC says the four doctors are Dr. Stewart MacMillian, Dr. Camille Haddad, Dr. Kris Wierzchoslawski and Dr. Gerard Losier.

All four doctors continue to have privileges at the hospital.

Dr. Ken Gillespie, the chief of staff at the Moncton Hospital, is now the interim chief of staff and medical director at the Miramichi Regional Hospital.
