The max price of regular-serve gasoline rose nearly 8 cents a litre overnight to a new max of $1.85.
Diesel jumped more than 17 cents to a new max $2.38.7 a litre.
Heating oil is up almost 18 cents to a max $2.17.4 per litre.

Miramichi-Grand Lake MP Jake Stewart says senior federal government officials have no direct awareness of the city’s proposed multiplex project.
In a release, Stewart said he asked senior staff with the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency and was told they have no knowledge of the project or of any request for financial assistance.
Stewart called the multiplex an awkward political football and went on to say its paralysis is preventing the development of sound ideas for initiatives in Miramichi.
He called for a meeting between all three levels of government to finally conclude the matter.

In Fredericton, the opposition Liberals are demanding to know more about the Higgs government’s plans to build a new $32-million jail in the Fredericton area.
The Higgs government contends the facility is needed because the system is stretched to capacity and crimes requiring incarceration are trending up.
But the Liberals say the data does not back up the idea that crime is on the rise and that the government is instead listening to anecdotal evidence.

Ten individuals were invested into the Order of New Brunswick yesterdays in a ceremony at Government House in Fredericton.
Among those inducted was Bobby Syliboy from the Esgenoôpetitj First Nation, for his incredible work and dedication as a coach and champion for youth in his community, and for his exceptional mentorship and excellence in volunteerism.

Environment Canada has confirmed that October was warmer than usual.
They say temperatures were 2-4 degrees above normal across the province last month.
Official say the warm, dry weather is not going away anytime soon and we can expect above normal temperatures until at least the middle of November.
